US: Arrests Made at Protests Outside ICE Facility in Portland

On Saturday, October 11, the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) monitored protest activity in the South Waterfront area, resulting in two arrests. During the event, police were notified of a man who had been assaulted and injured near South Bancroft Street and South Bond Avenue. The man was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Since nightly protests began in early June, the PPB has made a total of 49 arrests in the South Waterfront area, including these two.

US: Clashes Erupt Between Federal Agents and ICE Protesters in Paramount, California 2

Tensions flared in Paramount, southern Los Angeles County, California on Saturday, June 7, as protesters confronted federal agents in response to an alleged ICE operation in the area. The unrest erupted just one day after immigration officials detained over 40 individuals across Los Angeles. Demonstrators had assembled outside a federal detention facility, calling for the release of those arrested. The situation escalated when police in riot gear deployed tear gas to break up the crowd.
